Product Description

A 60′ platform wagon of the Sgnss-K series designed for the transport of containers and interchangeable vehicle containers. The wagon complies with the essential requirements of the WAG (freight wagons), NOI (Noise), UIC and V-BKS(K) TSI TSI for the conventional trans-European railway system and meets the requirements of the General Freight Wagon Agreement (AVV).

In addition, it complies with the construction regulations in force in international transport and can pass through:

– ferry ramps with a ferry bridge inclination angle of 2°30′ with a track curve radius of 120 m,
– marshalling yards with a curve radius of at least 75 m,
– marshalling yards with timing only using the staging method.

The wagon is equipped with two 2-axle bogies of the Y25Ls(s)d1-K series with composite brake inserts of the K type, as well as with pins for securing containers, which allow the transport of loads arranged according to the wagon loading scheme uniformly or variously along the entire length of the wagon:

– large containers with a length of 20′; 30′; 40′; and with a height of 8′ and 8 1/2′ in accordance with the UIC 592-2 card without exceeding the international gauge,
– type 1 interchangeable car containers; 2; 3; 3a and 4 with a maximum length of 13.6 m in accordance with UIC 592-4,
– class C car swap bodies according to the UIC 596-6 card.

The wagon uses bogies equipped with two-insert brake pads with K-type composite inserts (16 inserts on one bogie).

The wagon is designed to be used on 1435 mm wide tracks with a maximum load of 22.5 t/axle in s traffic (100 km/h) and 20t/axle in ss traffic (120 km/h) for permanent use on TS lines (-25°C; +45°C). The wagon is subject to the UIC MB 596-6 codification procedure and is marked C.

The manufacturer has a Quality Management System certificate in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 in the field of: design, development, construction, modernization and repair of rolling stock and steel structures and takes all necessary measures to ensure that the production process ensures compliance of each manufactured subsystem with the technical documentation and with the relevant requirements.
